In the April 2009 issue of U.S. News & World Report, USN gave an ordering of their 2010 TOP 50 and their TOP 51-102 law schools. Also given, but unordered, were their TIER 3 (ranking 103-139) and their TIER 4 (ranking 140-184) law schools.
For NINE SPECIALTIES, U S News & World Report gives their ranking of the top ten in that specialty.
The original US News Law School Ranking ranked the TOP TWENTY (1987). The top ten and the top sixteen of the November 1987 ranking of law schools are the same (albeit their order has changed).
