    2009 TOP 104 LAW SCHOOLS
    TOP 104 WITH RAW DATA

The annual U.S. News and World Report (USN) ranking of the top 100 (due to a five-way tie for position 100, the top 104) law schools appeared in the April 7-14, 2008 issue of USN. The USN publication AMERICA'S BEST GRADUATE SCHOOLS (2009 edition) makes an attempt to rank the remaining 80 accredited law schools by partitioning these law schools into Tier 3 (law schools ranked 105 to 141) and Tier 4 (law schools ranked 142 to 184). No explicit ranking of the law schools withn Tier 3 is given; the same applies for Tier 4.
In the publication America's Best Graduate Schools (2009 edition), the five law schools ranked 102 by us (100 by USN) are listed in the Top 100 and are also listed in Tier 3; it is reasonably clear that these five law schools are tied for 102 and do not belong in Tier 3; we deleted these five low schools from Tier 3.
