BELOW OUT-OF-Date

The latest U.S. News and World Report ranking (USN) of the 184 ABA fully-approved law schools appeared in the April 9,  issue.  No ranking was given to the law schools not within the top 104 but law schools with a ranking inclusively between 105 and 139 were classified as third-tier while the law schools with a ranking inclusively between 140 and 184 were classified as fourth-tier.  
     This section contains some of the raw data used by U. S. News and World Report to calculate their April 9, 2007 ranking of law schools. This USN Ranking is based on a weighted average of twelve measures of quality including PEER SCORE (counts 25%), JUDGE/LAWER (15%), median of the LSAT SCORES (12.5%), median GPA (10%), STUDENT/FACULTY RATIO (3%). The other measures of quality involve Proportion of Applicants Accepted (2.5%), Placement Success (20%), Faculty Resources (12%).
